Build and Manage a Maximum Security Prison!
Escape from reality but not from your custom-made jail! Prison Architect: Mobile challenges you to build and manage a maximum security prison, from laying out cell blocks and inmate facilities, to managing staff pay and prisoner morale. From layout to execution (literally, in some cases), you are the architect, the warden, and the enforcer.
Prison designs will include basic necessities like cells, canteens, guard rooms, and infrastructure, but players can also include features like solitary confinement, workout areas, and even an execution chamber. The tablet version comes with enough to get started, with additional story-driven campaign chapters and more features available as premium content.
Prison Architect: Mobile includes:
- Build and manage a prison to house a variety of different prisoners
- Juggle inmate needs with security concerns, infrastructure, and the ever-looming budget
- Follow the story in Campaign Mode to learn new prison-building techniques and get to know life behind bars through a series of cutscenes and objectives
- Unlock more Campaign chapters with one-time purchases
- Violent Offenders: Manage different types of criminals and keep control through floods, fires, fights, and full-blown riots
Introversion Software, developers of critically acclaimed games, bring you a new mobile version of their award-winning PC hit. Together with the master strategists at Paradox Interactive, Introversion's Prison Architect: Mobile will provide you with enough challenging fun to last an entire life sentence!
(Requires 64-bit iPads) - basically iPads released on/after November 2013).

Praise and suggestions: ESCAPE MODE
This game is great! I purchased it from the App Store, and after paying $4.99 for the sandbox mode, I play it nonstop. There is a few thing I feel one should know, however, if they are trying to decide weather or not to get it:
1) It isn’t truly free, but it also isn’t a “pay to play game”.
When you start first download this game, the features that you get are the first chapter of many storylines, and a demo sandbox mode that only lasts for seven in-game days. The rest you will have to pay for. I bought the full version of the sandbox portion, and I an not disappointed at all! You don’t need to pay for things like skipping time of more money, and it is very much like a good computer game.
2) There are some scenes that are explicit.
At the very beginning, you could choose to do the tutorial, which is literally the first and only chapter that is unlocked. It shows some cutscenes as you go along that shouldn’t be viewed by a certain audience. Luckily, there is the option to skip them if you don’t want to see them.
There are some features on the computer version that I would love to see added, mainly the escape mode option. That would add another fantastic gameplay option for the sandbox mode. I would also love to see other additions into this game from the computer edition.

Great game with one frustrating flaw
I played this for a solid two weeks and I think it’s one of the better resource management games available for iOS. It runs surprisingly smooth and it challenges your strategic thinking in a variety of ways. However, the developers need to fix the the pass rate problem for prisoner education classes. No matter what I do I can’t seem to get enough prisoners to pass to meet the education grant requirements. Have moved classrooms closer to the cells, removed the presence of armed guards near classrooms, made sure all their other needs are met. Nothing works. Every other aspect of the game, while difficult and challenging, feels like it works exactly how it’s supposed to. This however feels like a mistake, or at least something that game itself needs to do a better job of explaining. Even with the comprehensive tutorial that’s in there you still somehow feel helpless when it comes to this one mechanic.
Things they need to fix and add
BUGS
1.Dead bodies are pilling up everywhere and guards and medic staff are not doing anything about it and they just leave it there and traffic at the roads will happen
2. I built a mail room and I see a bunch of mails at the delivery place and guards just leave it there like my 50 inmates outside complaining
3.When the guards arrest the prisoners they leave at one spot like at hallways and never do anything about it
4.Riots will happen randomly for no reason
5.Every time you expand your prison it kicks you out
5.You also lag for no reason at all
6.U play campaign at G.A.M.B.O u bug out
7.Maximum prisoners complain about safety when there the prisoners
8.You can change death row prisoners to minimum-protective custody which that is the problem
9.Inmate nutrition research needs to be fix because low viruety does not work
ROOMS THE GAME NEEDS TO ADD
1.Bathroom because the prisoners keeps complaining about bladder
THINGS THEY NEED TO ADD
1.They need to add a prison for kids
2.A guard that can hold a relover
3.add female prisoners with babies
4.escape mode
5.They need to add a miltary prison for military personnel only
7.protective custody and super max prison
THATS ALL plus guards take things to a whole new level of laziness like not put the dead people harose or leaving the prisoners outside and starving the prisoners

Take control of the building and running of a maximum security prison as the critically acclaimed lock-em-up arrives on Xbox One! Your Design, Their FateWill you build and manage a prison to create social order where it’s failed in the past, offering rehabilitation and peaceful coexistence amongst inmates? Will your prison disregard human rights, impose intentional harshness and be devoid of any notions of wellbeing and freedom? The choice is yours. In Prison Architect you will see the impact of your grand design on the lives of your inmates; be it a utopic center for rehabilitation, a brutal Super Max Prison or anything in between. Even when all of your prisoners’ needs are met, remember one thing - it’s still a prison and no one really wants to be there.Start your journey into the world of Prison Architect by playing through the Prison Stories (campaign). Here you’ll learn the ropes by being brought in to equip a small prison with everything it needs to perform its first execution, all before being called up to deal with emergencies at larger and larger prisons. You’ll quickly learn how to cope with blazing infernos, hostage situations and prison wide riots - if you make it through all that unscathed, the Mayor will be ready to give you the reigns of a brand new prison development where you can build the prison of your dreams.Build and Manage A Maximum Security PrisonOnce you are ready to begin building your own prison, in Architect Mode (sandbox) you can either choose to take control of one of several pre-built prisons right away or build one entirely from scratch.Acting as both architect and governor, you control every detail of your Prison - from building new cells and facilities to hiring staff and creating reform programs - all while dealing with informants, contraband smuggling, gang warfare, full scale riots and more!Once your prison is built, go online with World of Wardens to share your designs with the community. You can also browse and play other Architects’ prisons from around the world!
